On Friday, April 8, 2022, the STATEC website officially announced the triggering of an index bracket resulting in a 2.5% increase in salaries and pensions as of April 1, 2022.

"In March 2022, the national consumer price index, calculated by STATEC, shows a monthly increase of 1.0%, which is largely explained by the sharp increase in petroleum product prices of 8.2% in one month. This development triggers an index bracket resulting in a 2.5% increase in salaries, wages and pensions as of April 1, 2022."
